Effectiveness of Well Water Treatment Method with Electrocoagulation, Coagulation, and Electrocoagulation-Coagulation Using Alum as Coagulant

Abstract All This study compares the effectiveness of well-water treatment with coagulation, electrocoagulation, and electrocoagulation-coagulation methods in Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan, following quality standards Minister Health Regulation No. 32 2017. used an alum was varied by testing parameters turbidity, color, TDS, Fe, Mn, pH. The results on mass variation showed increase pH, increases Mn. With electrocoagulation method, efficiency increased pH were 3.88%, 22.22%, 32.77%, 42.59%; decrease TDS 46.34%, 54.07%, 86.79%, 114.75%; color reduction 95.39%; 28.85%; 88.79%; 80.02%; decreased turbidity 99.45%; 99.80%; 99.32%; 99.10%; Fe concentration 96.60%; 98.99; 96.20%; 96.99%; Mn 99.59%; 99.75%; 99.72%; 99.75%. Processing method addition 0.5 g resulted a -29.62%; -26.29%; 13.33; 15.37%; 24.92%; 24.23%; 21.356%; 16.59%; watercolor 86.09%; 74.27%; 91.24; 70.02%; value 99.44%; 99.31%; 99.54%; 98.96%; 97.98%; 96.48%; 97.11; 98.22%, 99.55%;
